Job Description

CURRENTLY HIRING FOR MOBILE SECURITY GUARD - MOBILE DIVISION 

Reporting Line:

  • Reports to the Operations Manager, WINNIPEG Branch

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Attending to City Wide Alarm Calls
  • Access control for the facility or area posted
  • Ability to operate Security Control Center equipment/ systems, computers, radios, phones including blackberry
  • Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to Fire Alarms and or Site Emergencies
  • Undertake site specific training as required, follow direction from Supervisor and or Client Service Manager
  • Follow Post Orders as outlined by each site assigned
  • Meticulous Record Keeping, Report Writing and Observation Skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Client and or G4S Management

Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Police Foundation or Security Related Education
  • Equivalent College/University Education related to the Security industry (Preferred)

Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:

  • Provincial Security Guard License
  • Due to Company Insurance Compliance Regulations, applicants must be 25 years of age or older
  • Valid Driver Licence (no demerits)
  • Must provide criminal record check and child abuse registry check documents
  • Must provide a clear Driver Abstract
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Familiarization of the City of Winnipeg Streets
  • Must be willing to work Evening, Overnights and Weekends

-      Certifications:
• First Aid and CPR
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
• Certified Protection Officer (CPO) Preferred

Experience:
• 1-2 years Experience as a Security Guard
• 1-2 years Experience in a Supervisory Role
